This is a very good breakfast and early lunch eatery, good food good service. They open early and close early, closed early afternoons. Pleasant atmosphere.

I've eaten here a couple times with my family and the place has a great home feeling. The employees are very nice and the food is great~

If you want classic diner breakfast this is your jam. The omelette did have fresh veggies and that was really great. The staff seem like old school diner wait staff, attentive to your coffee cup and your needs/ requests. I would give more stars, maybe five stars if I was enchanted by basic fare from the era where margarine was novel and delicious. Alas, I grew up with a different palate and thoroughly experienced the working world of fine dining and high end ingredients with less additives so I am ruined for this kind of breakfast. It is a funner, kitchier local version of an IHOP or Denny's or McDonald's breakfast. If you like those types of breakfast you should go to this place, you will love the food!!

I love the atmosphere in this place, and the food is really good. It's one of those restaurants where they get to know you by name and they go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy great food and plenty of coffee.

I can't remember the last time I had a breakfast this good. I was skeptical when we got there, but the staff was extremely friendly, the food was great, and the restaurant atmosphere was really small and cozy. If you're looking for a "go to" breakfast spot, try this one!

I’ve been going here since before I can remember (my grandma works there). I absolutely love it, Dale is also amazing to talk to whenever you’re there. The food is good, great atmosphere. Even the customers who dine there all know each other. It makes you want to keep coming back to see everyone!

First visit. Really friendly locally owned restaurant. Open early am to 1 pm. The Belgian waffles are excellent. Other menu choices very good. Prices about $13 for complete breakfast. Service was good. I had bacon, delicious bacon and hotcakes. The other person I was with had a Spanish omelet and a waffle side. We will definitely return.

Dale and his wife are wonderful. ❤ Friendly staff and great food. Small town charm in the city.

Waffles are top notch! Nice and fluffy. They are very fresh. Real maple syrup plus other real syrups as well.. Only draw back to Waffles Plus is there pop. You get two very little kid size cups of pop and NO refills for i belive $2.99... Juice also comes in same kids cup with no refills and you only get 1 little cup.. Stick to coffee. They will come around non stop giving you coffee.. Food is wonderful. Hot and fresh.. But you will leave thirsty if your drinking a pop or juice.. Even the water cups are the same size as the pop.. Little kids cups... Again wonderful food and service.

Best country fried steaks and waffles in town! Exceptional and friendly service. We always feel welcomed as a friend when ever we are here. They are finally open again for dine in or take out. We have missed them so much! It feels good to support a locally family owned business.

Old fashioned big breakfasts. Nothing fancy, just good, filling breakfasts. Fantastic service, really friendly folks.

Busy but very attentive staff great food

I really like the down to home feeling you get coming here. They have fun and zany things on the walls. The staff are very friendly and prompt to your needs. They have HUGE waffles topped sky high. Get there early as this place closes in the early afternoon. This place is generally pretty busy but the wait is short if any.

Service is absolutely great, food is deluxe in every way, and the place has a mom-n-pop feel that's welcoming as soon as you walk in. We had a larger party of 8 adults and two wee ones, and I called three times to ask questions. I spoke with three different people each time, and they were ALL really nice. They accommodated us well even though the restaurant is better suited to smaller parties of four or less. They filled our coffee cups even before we were seated and kept it coming. We were welcomed and bid a fond farewell by the owner (well, I *think* he was). It was our first visit, and the experience was fun, comfortable, and delicious!

Nice mom and pop place, okay food but the prices are crazy. 9$ for kid meals of grilled cheese and fries or eggs and two pancakes. Their prices are above Frank’s restaurant but you can get better food by far and more at Frank’s.

Food was bland. There was an employee that was talking to patrons seated at the bar. He was incredibly LOUD and didn't stop talking the entire time!

Sit in a half hour line at the newly relocated kalico kitchen? How about not. Swing up Monroe to waffles plus and get a better breakfast for less anyway

This place is to die for. So much good food no matter what you get you will be impressed. Nothing but the best. We will be here again and again. Thanks to the waffles plus crew for a good meal.

Fun, friendly place. Food is fabulous and not lacking in size. Dale, the owner is always there with a friendly smile and Debbie is the ultimate in wait staff. You won't go wrong stopping in at this neighborhood diner.

Great service and there open for dine in again

Great staff, enjoyed breakfast. Spanish omelet with a waffle and cup of coffee. Couldn't believe I ate it all was delicious. Debbie was keeping my coffee warm with out me ever asking.

There's nothing like a good home cooked meal like if you find here at waffles Plus! The owner down makes you feel like you are part of this great big family when you come in! The staff are friendly and the food is amazing! Don't forget to try a Betty while you're there it's your signature dish!

Amazing food, I'm always so pleased. Bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns are all so amazing. The Reeses waffle is a must try if you're in for some sweets. The hot cocoa it great too. They're always busy so go early if you dont want to wait.

Great service, delicious food! Fantastic, would highly recommend going off the beaten path for this place. The ham wasn't salty and was fall apart delicious. The Spanish omelet was perfectly cooked and great taste, like a taco in an egg! Coffee was perfect and not bitter, they were Johnny on the spot to top those mugs off. Bacon was perfect, not brick hard.

Fantastic Waffles!! I had a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whip cream. Sheer Heaven!!My friend had a waffle,egg and sausage. And said her waffle was also very light and delicious! It's just a little mom and pop place. It's not very big but it's homey , clean and the staff are very friendly. My husband and I are always happy with the food we order.We've only had breakfast there.

Hubs and I went for breakfast. Old school, friendly atmosphere. Staff knew customers by name and were catching up as they served folks. Service was great! Food was delicious. You can’t go wrong ordering any of their waffles! The blueberry syrup was thick and had blueberries in it!! Can’t wait to go again. Family friendly, no one using foul language which is a giant plus.

We had a small table in the corner. Very small place. If you have a large group prepare to barely fit. But the food was good. Good specials. Adults ordered steaks and eggs and child had grilled cheese. Very good food for great price.
